Names: Amycus and Alecto
Bloodline: Pure (too much so...)
Age: 27
Basic Family History:
Born in August 1970 to Alexander and Medusa (Carrows) Griswall. They are purebloods, of a family rabid about such blood purity, and thus naturally became servants of the Dark Lord. The family manor is located out on the deserted moors, and is generally covered in snow or mud and rock.
Though the Griswalls were wealthy, they are not from aristocratic lines, but rather made their wealth in African diamond mines. After their father's death in 1979, they returned to England and their mother's family, the Carrows.
They attended Hogwarts for five years (Gryffindor). At one time they had an oldre brother (Hector, Gryffindor 1978-1985); after his denouncement of his family upon graduation, when the twins were fifth years, their mother forbid them to return to Hogwarts and they were tutored privately. During the summer of '94 or '95 they took the Mark.
While certainly not the most effective servants of the Dark Lord, they are loyal and find cool enjoyment in their activities. They are by no means brave or courageous. In fact, Virtue seems to have passed them over completely, save for the deep bond between them. Personally, they have little care about the politics of the war, pureblood madness gnaws at their family tree, and it is suspected that the twins themselves might not be free of it. They have little care for the future, and are believed to herald the end of their family line (which would make many, many people—and house elves, cats, pixies, and other creatures—very happy).
Of the two, Alecto has the more evident temper, and though Amycus’ amiable nature might be deceiving, he is his sister’s equal in malice. Where outsiders are concerned, the two are inseperable and united and the very image of pureblood courtesy. They speak as one voice and can seemingly hear the other’s thoughts. Alone, however, they quarrel as all siblings do when boredom gets the better of them.
